Wimbledon Championships
Centre Court, strawberries and cream, and a Michelin-starred evening at Joia — the oldest tournament in tennis, done properly.
We are delighted to create your invitation
Each year, we help a small number of clients create this experience for their own guests at the All England Lawn Tennis Championships — the third of the four Grand Slam events, and the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Alongside the tennis, the day extends into an evening of cocktails and dinner, with an overnight stay at Art’Otel on Electric Boulevard, adjacent to Battersea Power Station.
Wimbledon has been held since 1877 and remains the only Grand Slam still played on grass, the traditional surface. It’s also the only major that retains a night-time curfew, though play can now continue until 23:00 under the lights.
A tennis tradition
Wimbledon traditions include a strict all-white dress code for competitors and continued royal patronage. Strawberries and cream are traditionally consumed at the tournament, in latter years accompanied by Champagne. Unlike other tournaments, advertising is minimal and low-key, limited to official suppliers such as Slazenger and Rolex — the relationship with Slazenger is the world’s longest-running sporting sponsorship, providing balls for the tournament since 1902.
The Debenture Lounge
Debenture seating comes with its own dedicated lounge, one on Centre Court and one on No.1 Court — each a multi-storey, air-conditioned space with its own restaurants and bars, phone charging points, and rooftop balconies looking out over the Grounds. It’s a genuinely private world away from the crowds outside, and where much of the day happens between points.
Arrival is its own small ritual too. Debenture and hospitality guests are directed through the walkway opposite Gate 4 to the Guest Arrival Hub, where hosts are on hand to answer questions before you’ve even reached your seat.

Joia sample menu
“Joia” means jewel in Portuguese — traditional recipes with modern Iberian influences, served as a shared culinary journey from two-Michelin-starred chef Henrique Sá Pessoa.
“I appreciate your patience in answering our endless questions during the long process of planning and executing my valued clients’ Wimbledon vacation… The seats, as you assured us, were more than perfect. Not only did they have great views of the action, but they got to meet some tennis celebrities and got their autographs… She and her husband were particularly impressed that Justin called them twice to see how their Wimbledon experience was going. GREAT service, gentlemen!”

Dress code
There’s no strict dress code at Wimbledon, though torn jeans, running vests, dirty trainers or sports shorts aren’t permitted on Centre Court. Smart casual is the standard in the debenture restaurants — men aren’t required to wear a jacket or tie, though most guests do dress for the occasion.
Watching tennis
Phones and tablets on silent, please, with flash turned off — and entry or exit from a court only at the change of ends or between matches, never during play.
Bags & cloakrooms
Bring what you need in a bag no larger than 40cm x 30cm x 30cm. Cloakrooms are located at the Centre Court and No.1 Court entrances. Personal alcohol is permitted within the usual limits, though picnic hampers, cool boxes and camping chairs aren’t.
Dietary requirements
Any special dietary requirements, for medical or religious reasons, are best flagged as early as possible so we can advise the caterers.
